George & Dragon Hotel, High Wycombe

The hotel is conveniently located, just 2 minutes walk from a local beauty spot perfect for dog walking. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, but some noise and food smells were noticeable from the kitchen below. The staff were friendly and responsive, although there were some issues with handling complaints. Dining offered delicious options but at a higher price point. Overall, it's a charming location with some areas that could use updating.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were very cosy and clean, but there were some issues like the freezing cold extractor fan above the kitchen. The service was overall good, with incredible food and drinks at the pub, but there was a hiccup with check-out time. The location was superb for our needs, offering a delightful atmosphere in an old part of High Wycombe. The dining was enjoyable but quite expensive compared to nearby options. Overall, a decent stay with some highs and lows.
